Cllr Michael Gillespie grew up in Barnehurst and is the third generation of his family to live in the community. He achieved his doctorate in molecular microbiology at the University of East Anglia. He loves this community and wants to ensure that Barnehurst retains its identity and remains one of the best areas to live in Bexley.
