We're proud to stand as your local Conservative team committed to protecting what makes Barnehurst a great place to live, while working hard to make it even better.

Over the past few years, we've fought to keep our green spaces safe from inappropriate development, improved our roads, supported the police to tackle neighbourhood crime, and worked with residents to make Barnehurst cleaner and more connected.

We believe local councillors should be visible, approachable, and focused on results. That's why we're out regularly meeting residnets, responding to issues quickly, and standing up for Barnehurst on Bexley Council.

Michael Gillespie grew up in Barnehurst and is the third generation of his family to live in the community. He achieved his dosctorate in molecular microbiology at the University of East Anglia. "I love this community and want to ensure that Barnehurst retains its identity and continues to be one of the best areas to live in Bexley."

Cllr Howard Jackson has served Barnehurst as a councillor since 2018 after moving to the borough to start a family.

"I'm dedicated to keeping Barnehurst green, safe and thriving — improving roads, transport and local serices while tackling crime, supporting volunteers, and investing in community infrastructure."

Our priorities are clear: protect our parks and golf course, tackle crime and anti-social behaviour, invest in local infrastructure, and make sure Barnehurst gets the local services it deserves. With your support, we'll continue working hard to deliver the practical solutions that make a real difference to daily life.
