We’re proud to serve East Wickham — a community we live in and around, care

deeply for, and will continue to work hard to protect.

Over the past four years, we’ve opposed Ulez expansion, blanket 20 mph zones, and

paid parking proposals that penalise drivers. We’ve worked with the police, housing

providers and community groups to keep our community safe. We’ve tackled anti-social

behaviour and fly-tipping, opposed inappropriate HMOs, removed abandoned vehicles

and protected pedestrians from dangerous parking.

We’ve secured road resurfacing across key streets, enhanced our green spaces,

refreshed white lines, and introduced ‘No Dog Fouling’ stencils. We’ve supported

Discover Welling’s poppy and Christmas light campaigns and helped volunteers keep

our area clean and vibrant.

Cllr Steven Hall was first elected as an East Wickham councillor in 2009 and is

dedicated to public service. He is a former police officer and is now an IT consultant.

He grew up on a council estate in Charlton, lives in East Wickham with his family, and

worships at St Mary’s Church.

David Li is a qualified chemical engineer and successful local business owner. He has

lived in Bexley with his family since 2009, is deeply rooted in the local community, and

worships at St Michael’s Church.

Cllr Caroline Newton grew up in the ward and still lives in Welling. She has worked

in the professional and financial services sector for over two decades and has been

a Councillor for the area since 2010. Caroline is currently the Cabinet Member for

Education and Corporate Services.

We’re standing to be your Conservative councillors to deliver up for East Wickham. If you

elect us, we’ll work to keep our area safe, fix roads, protect green spaces and support

our community.
